About Us
Founded in the early 2000s, ITNA is a Level 1 BBBEE technology investment company with solutions designed to advance the delivery of services in Local Government.
Early on, ITNA focussed on continuity services and ICT support.
ITNA merged with CCS Africa in March 2010. CSS Africa focussed on telephony and connectivity solutions. We created a comprehensive ICT provider for SMEs by combining the two companies.
In early 2012, ITNA realigned its focus from the private sector to the public sector.
In August 2017, ITNA acquired 100% of the shareholding in Munsoft, creating a South African local government powerhouse with our Munsoft financial management systems (FMS/ERP) and information technology (ICT) services. Munsoft was created in 2001 and has a heritage of success in municipalities throughout South Africa, Namibia, and Eswatini. ITNA and Munsoft grew their client base from 30 to more than 70 in South Africa and 3 to 17 in Namibia.
Munsoft established an Advisory and Training business in 2017 to aid municipalities with the mSCOA reform and municipal financial-related processes. Advisory has been a great success.
ITNA's acquisition of Novus3 in October 2021 was a significant step towards our vision of improving local government. We were particularly excited to gain their experience in metropolitan municipalities and their unique skillset around expenditure planning and prioritisation and capital expenditure frameworks (CEFs). These capabilities will undoubtedly enhance our service offerings to clients.
In August of 2022, ITNA completed the acquisition of Rumas. They bring over 20 years of specialised knowledge and experience in credit control and indigent management to the group and our clients. Rumas has a proud history of working with municipal institutions of all sizes and driving them to success in these critical areas.
In 2024 4GL, Sapsi and Intelo were spun out of Munsoft to focus on development, training and ICT services. This renewed focus is driving many new opportunities for our group.

Novus3 develops and supports industry-leading software solutions such as CP3, Financial Spatial Reporting and BI and Dashboards. This is further complemented by specialised advisory products such as CEFs and SDFs.

Rumas continues to build out their core solutions in Collection Wise and Indi Reg. Offering service support to both Munsoft and non-Munsoft clients.

Intelo
Intelo continues to deliver specialised ICT services to Munsoft clients, seeking to expand to non-Munsoft clients with generic ICT services.
Intelo is also establishing a private sector footprint, first within the group and then looking at the ICT market at large.

Sapsi is establishing a training business for the group focusing on system and process training for our clients. Training will include: Classroom, Regional, Onsite and Online.
